A wild, sensory-rich edge to a school playground designed to encourage free play, biodiversity, and connection to nature. The aim was to create a space that feels exploratory and calming, supporting children’s sensory needs while increasing habitat value.

The design embraces looseness, texture, and seasonal change rather than formal structure.
